Its been a whole damned year.

Its been a whole year since Umoja first met. Its been a whole year since we came together as a class to listen to Anthony Ho try and get to know our nicknames - and use them. Its been a whole year since the first pool/movie/ponning jaunts we had.

Its been a whole year, or nearly so, since 1st three months marked the beginning of our friendship.

Well, we've survived the first anniversary, so hip hip hurrah!

Good luck for the 'A's, Umoja. I'll be back again next year, to check on our pulse on the second anniversary.

Haha, i was just going thru blogs on yet another boring night.
We've left this to rot a bit haven't we?

you know, no matter how distant we are now (even though still bodily in the vincinity of each other in none other than nanyang junior college), we're still together in spirit and that whole umoja thing is still there.

haha. all those great memories, like the sentosa outing and the skit came back to me when i was in the sickbay that other day, and each one of you, like yi cheng, eunice, evon, vincent..all the first aiders came in. whether it was on duty or not, still brought back the memories :)
dont stop saying hi in the hallways when we meet! :)

Swee Wei stood easy, his weight leaning back on his right foot, angled forty-five degrees from his front. His left feet was planted in front, for once not bare from knee down. Across his newly acquired nanyang uniform was his sling bag, dangling from right shoulder down, held constant by a steadying hand. His other hand clutched at a plastic bag, in it were his Catholic High uniform, changed out eagerly, and the spare set of Nanyang uniform he bought.

Clean-shaven and smiling, as usual, with cheeks tinged a slight shade of red from such a long time in the chilly library, Swee Wei glanced my way. His eyes, which shone with amusement, were thoughtful as he repeated his words.

"I can't. I can't really say it sucks... when I don't really feel that way."

I wanted to question him, I wanted to take him by his shoulders, and shake him. I felt frustrated. I felt... weird. Like something was missing, something wasn't right.

No, I didn't feel that way because we had just watched 5566's newest idol-series, Ge Dou, a show which belongs in a genre I detest. I didn't feel that way because I didn't accomplish much today. I didn't feel that way because I have PMS; I don't.

I don't know why I felt that way.

Maybe it was because I've finally met my new CT. Maybe it was because the cold hard reality, which I have been convincing myself I was ready for, finally smacked me square in the face, and found me unprepared. Maybe its because I feel I've let down my friends. Maybe its because I think I've been neglecting my friends. Maybe its because I feel sad that we're already beginning to split. Maybe its because... I miss you guys.

But do I? I want to say I do, I really want to. But can I? Like Swee Wei, I can't. Because I'm still hanging around you guys. I'm still with you guys, from dawn to dusk. From 6.00 am to 6.00 pm. I'm still laughing, still joking, still playing, still irritating, still messing around with you guys. I want to say I miss you guys. But I can't say it, because I still have you guys. Because I've never lost you.

I want to say, I need you guys, but I can't, because I still can live on without you all. Beacause I still can breathe, eat, sleep, shit and live, even though you guys may not be beside me.

Hey, I agree with Vinny that today was really boring. But then I think we shouldn't blame anyone lar...because the councillors had to think of this last minute. But I have something to say....Osiris people are so damn UNENTHU! But the OGLs are the greatest people ever! Haha...hopefully tomorrow will be better.

I realised it's not easy to be an OGL afterall...because you cant pon...lolx...and you have to shout the school song in front of your faction people, as well as DANCE in front of them...so maluated man...haha.

And it can get very trying to get your OG to be enthu...those people either keep quiet or bitch about in their groups(the girls i mean) Sigh...no offense lah, but I seriously prefer orientation one man.

Have I crapped enough? Haha...I think I had. Still pondering whether to take maths or not. It's like, I dont like it and had no potential for it, yet I'm afraid of disadvantages upon entering university. And I seriously dont wanna choose between taking history or literature, both are my PASSION.So tell me what to do leh....Haha...anyone wanna advise me? Just post here...haha=)

I'm Peeling!!!

Yay, my entire arm is peeling. I'm rubbing my upper arm as I type, and watching it peel. Whee~!

Finally, I've found out just what sun-burnt peeling feels like. My best description, the only one that gives it any credit, is one-worded : FUN!

I've been rubbing my arm occasionally the whole day today, while my OG was faithfully following my fellow OGLs around on 'The Hunt', during which I found out some new things I never knew about NY: its boring.

But well, its been fun enough that I was distracted from peeling... a coupla times that is.

I've finally found out why my BitTorrent was going so slow. I set my max upload rate too high. Now that I've set it the lowest it can go, my dl speed is doubled. Of course, it still is bloody slow, but well, that's the problem with little seeders. People are so depraved and selfish. Life sucks. But that's my blog's theme, shouldn't put it here.

I finally perfected my summer-sunshine! Well, for one round at least. I messed it up the very next round. Ah well, once perfect is always perfect. ^^

C'mon Umojans! Don't let this blog die! It is the EPITOME OF OUR UNITY! Blog nonsense once in a while. Like me. ^^

Of the three options, Crispy and I have decided to explore Option 2 first before resorting to pooling our depleted cash funds to buy metal chains.

To summarise our efforts at such discussion...:

The end of a chapter, the beginning of a new one.

What can I say? As officially of friday, 11th of March, Term 1 of the school year is over. Despite the fact that the posting results might be delayed, that day also, officially, marks the end of our PAE, the first three months of JC. And for some of us, that marks the end of a short-lived, though happy, friendship.

05A1; Umoja; tetegong; all these are words that would stay with us forever as memory of our time in this term. It is inevitable, that we will drift apart after this, that we will go our seperate ways. It is unavoidable, that we shall forget, though try as we might, to remember and treasure the times we've spent together. But before I forget, before we part, let me give a final, and eternal, eulogy to friendships forged, to lives changed, to 05A1.

Be it dozing peacefully next to each other in class, or making one hell of a noise on the bus, irritating the hell out of the auntie seated in the middle of our conversation. Be it painting nails in class, awful attempts at that, or buying ice-cream for teachers. Be it having roti-prata for brunch, taking never-ending neoprints or watching a certain disturbed boy in our class countdown...

From the tentative, embarrasing moments right from the outset, as we experimented and forged preliminary bonds and budding friendships. From the moment we first laughed at jokes, many a them cold beyond bearing. From the time we crossed the unseen boundary to firm, unyielding friendship. From the time arguments borne of ease with each other's presence began. From the moment the shy, reserved bearing shed away to reveal the true selves behind those facades.

With the unending competitions we've triumphed over, and cheated at. With the O levels hanging over our heads. With the revelation that not everyone would be together after this term. With the homework left undone to loiter at malls. With the times spent mocking the shark in the library. With the unforgettable, and slightly disastrous trip to Seoul Garden. With the enthusiasm, the rapport we've established.

All these are times past and behind us. All these are moments we've shared, and felt joy at. All these are memories to be treasured, to be cherished. For the times not yet arrived. For the times already forgotten. For the small moments that words are inadequate to describe.

No matter what it was, the feelings of bliss, or "xing fu gan jue" will forever be held dear and cherished in an irreplaceable part of my heart.

Yesterday we played Taboo against 05S7C! And we won! Again! (I think we've never lost any Taboo competition or inter-class competition with e exception of the gp thing.... n we should have won la...)

We also went to kopitiam for food... And it was raining... And when we went back to side-gate, there were like mud-pools all over... The guys could cross it easily but Yinghui didn't want to... so she ran across the tracks! And the rain was realy big at that time... SO we girls followed her example and ran across too... and we all got totally wet! Haha!

The funniest thing was that we all brought umbrellas but we were all too lazy to take them out and open them............

We also brought Peng ice-cream. Hee hee hee. Peng so cute.

Yinghui cursed the weather la... wad raining happiness... haha. :P

Extension of Period for Applications Under Joint Admissions Exercise

The period for applications under the Joint Admissions Exercise to junior colleges, polytechnics, Centralised Institute and Institute of Technical Education has been extended till 6pm on Monday 7 March to ensure that all eligible students who wish to participate in the JAE are able to submit their applications.

Yeah...Eunice I know how you must have felt. And oh man...you are so damn cool! Remind me to do that next time too! Haha...Now I know why I cant find you people in the library just now.
I had a really bad encounter a few days ago with sharky. I was wearing my white ZION shirt and pinafore, happily typing away on the comp when she came and start niaoing people off. I mean, I didnt do anything wrong okay? Just using the comp. Then this piece of shit came and tick everyone off. She didnt spare me either. (I think she make it a point to scold everyone every one hour) Told me that t shirts are not allowed (it was a thursday you see) and she like wanna ask me to leave already. Then I pretend to act really dumb and told her that THAT IS MY OFFICIAL school uniform and I'm still considered a pupil of that school. Well...I guess that lady got nothing else to say.(Just stare at me wanna to say more but I heck her) Heh. She left me alone and continue to niao other poor souls. Honestly...We should sign a petition and request for a new librarian. Haha.
Now for today. Went pastamania with Yinghui, Yvonne and Eunice. Ate the chicken lasagna. Oh man...it's so cheesy. Haha. Felt really bloated after that. That place is meant for people who got big stomachs.
Oh and before that during GP we watched American history X. A damn cool movie, though I get really irritated by the language. I mean, a few F words here and there make things really spicy, but to have every characters saying that word at least once in each of their sentence sort of over done the whole thing. It makes you think that they are just using that word to substitute the vocabs they dunno. Haha. But the movie is quite impactful though. Racism huh? Haha. Actually this sort of things are still happening around the word today, blame Hitler and his damn mein kampf.

yar, for those hu dun noe wad happen today, i was at the library with like, clemence, yinghui n yvonne today when we pon history. yar, yvonne n yinghui shared a com and so i sat beside them on the floor with clemence.

as u would noe if u read my blog, my dad gave mi a new hp, so, being the forever inquisitive me, i tried to infrared stuff from yvonne's and clemence's phone.

yar, here's where the shark come in. she ah, walk around, (PMS or Mad Shark disease i nt very sure lah) then specially came up to us and say "What u doing? Playing HP? U think here playground or wad?" (O.S: I felt like telling her to F***ing shutup and tt we DON"T play with handphones, especially NOT at the playground) so i gave her the 'dead fish eye' (which means i flipped my eyes at her) and put both yvonne's and my handphones into my pocket. she got nth to say liao, bo pian, walk to scold other ppl. then she walk away i continue playing, oh no, is USING my handphone (you can't PLAY with a handphone, unlike how u can play with a ball)

then aft a while, she came back to bark at me again. oops! not bark! saying tt would b insulting to a dog. she came over to bite me again. then i buay song liao! cannot tahan her! u noe wad she said? it went like tis:

Shark: "You making so much noise! u wan me to throw u all out?" (or something like tis)

Lamer: "No need. intend to go out, NOW!"

then i very proudly walk out in front of her, and then i turn around n said loudly "Clemence, LETZ GO!"she had nth to say but "Go, go!" haha!! i was DAMM F*****G pissed off with her. hu she think she is? a libarian n not my mother! (i'm lamer, NOT baby shark!)

yar, n i MUZ MUZ MUZ mention some VERY VERY VERY IMPORTANT POINTS.

1) there's no such rule (as far as i noe) like "No using Handphone in library"

I shall never forget all the things we did together...the skits, Taboo, netball, illegal outings,ponning lessons,our very own UMOJA soccer team, that day at escape theme park, the countdown signal, tetegong songs...there are just so many things.Haha. I know that some of us will be going to the science stream or whatever after 3 months but hey, let's all continue to keep in contact yeah? Have more class outings and tetegong sessions...haha. We MIGHT be having a CT outing on Monday - yesh, THAT Monday... the day we get our O level results. See, we need to have one last fun time together before we recieve our judgement, so we decided to ice-skate on Monday morning. We don't have school anyway and the place will be quite empty. It's our only chance!

Today was 'movie day'! Okay not true, but anyway, almost the whole class was watching a bit of MOULIN ROUGE after the early release from History class.

We learned German ok...

Then in the end only me, Shuting and Vincent were left watching the movie since the rest were going off for maths. Vincent... FELL ASLEEP! Lol!

Then we watched 2046 later... A bit only lar.

YOYO!!!.. guess wat time izzit..hehe..its during the CT period..haha..it feels great escaping...well... shuting promise to let me write about what happen yesterday...a day full of drama..

we..referring to shooting, eunice, mag and yvonne went to Ps to eat secret recipe....err.. not the whole shop but the food there..yah..u get what i mean..me and mag ordered brownie top with ice cream..and WOW.. eating that made u feel as if ur floating..as if in heaven..got "xin fu de gan jue" quoted from yvonne.. the brownie was warm..at the right temperature..at that min u put into ur mouth u feel very loved... WOW... the chocolate fudge made it even better..made it sweeeeet..and it was LOVELY....so this is how love feels like..sweet and warm.. the whole clas should eat that.. but BEWARE..there is GST and yah it cost $4.90.

Next.. we decided to take neo prints.. AGAIN..yah..i look at the machine and din feel like smiling again.. my smiles seemed to be photocopied..cuz it look the same in every neo print..EXCEPT this time round...for the first time in 17 years...i felt that i took the perfect neo print.. it came out gorgeous..not me but as in everyone turned out so wunnerful.. we did the gals 1,2,3,4,5 handsign.. if u get what i mean..and we did all sort of style.. angry (i tried..n turned out to b hilarous)...erm..act cute ( we'r the best at this), sweet ( second best) ..dao.aka.act cool( not v nice but stil nice).. anywae.. what im trying to imply is that it was a pity that not the whole gang was there..

toilet!!!... argh... the next visiting place...okie... yvonne was in the cubical..err..doing..something u know what..then the lights suddenly off!!! OMG!! it took me four seconds to realise the lights had off..n i screamm... followed by yvonne..err..she was more lag then me..haha.. we then rush out..who wouldnt the whole place was in total darkness..outside we saw smoke..practically the whole PS was filled with smoke..n the alarm was ringing( it wasnt exactly v loud cuz the place was too noisy), everyone was heading for the entrance so we did too.. abandoning our urgent need for the toilet..the min we placed our first foot out of PS the alarm stopped..great..! we went back in cuz eunice wanted to buy jay VCD..and decided to visit the toilet once more.. juz as we were about to enter the toilet once more the alarm went off again.. shit! are we a curse or what...eunice and i being very inquisitive decided to find the fire source..so we travelled upwards while ppl were going to the entrance..hahhaa...so exciting..
